EPBiH’s strategic commitment is the construction of new power plants based on renewable sources, including hydropower, wind power, and photovoltaic power plants.

In accordance with the Long-Term Development Plan of EPBiH, public interest decisions by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and relevant institutions, EPBiH is actively preparing projects for the construction of new generation facilities.

The implementation of new capital projects is strategically focusing on enhancing the flexibility of the energy portfolio and improving energy efficiency, in line with the mission, vision, and business policies of EPBiH.

Hydro Power Plant

New hydropower plant projects represent a strategic investment that ensures long-term energy stability and the production of clean, reliable energy from renewable sources. At the same time, such projects stimulate economic development, strengthen local communities, and contribute to meeting climate goals by reducing emissions and increasing energy independence.
