Born in 1976 in Tuzla, he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tuzla in 2000, where he also obtained his master's degree in 2007 and defended his doctoral thesis in 2017.
His first employment was in 2000 as a professor of mechanical engineering at the Mixed Secondary School Srebrenik.
At the Public Enterprise Vodovod i kanalizacija Srebrenik, he served as the assistant director for technical affairs from 2002 to 2012, and again from 2014 to 2020.
From 2012 to 2014, he was the mayor of the Municipality Srebrenik.
From 2011 to 2012, he was a Supervisory Board member of JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo.
He has participated in numerous business trainings and is the author of a large number of expert papers.
He does not own any shares in JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo, nor does he own any shares/stakes in companies that could be considered competitors to the Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine d.d. – Sarajevo.
