Born in 1973 in Tuzla, he graduated from the Faculty of Mining and Geology at the University of Tuzla in 1999 and completed his postgraduate studies in 2007 at the Faculty of Mining, Geology, and Civil Engineering in Tuzla. He obtained his PhD in 2009 from the Faculty of Mining and Geology at the University of Belgrade.
From 1999 to 2015, he was employed at the “Banovići” Coal Mine, where he held various positions, ranging from technological process engineer in the mine to head of the Design and Technical Technological Planning Sector. From 2004 to 2015, he served as a member of the Supervisory Board of the “Banovići” Coal Mine.
He was the Executive Director for Production at JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo from 2015 to 2019. Since 2020, he has been engaged in the Strategic Development Sector as a lead expert associate for the development of thermal energy facilities.
He is the author and reviewer of projects, reports, and studies in the fields of mining and energy.
He does not own any shares in JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo, nor does he own any shares/stakes in companies that could be considered competitors to the Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine d.d. – Sarajevo..
